Ready For The South Florida Summer Heat?
Make Sure Your Air Conditioning Is Ready With Our LTA Tune-Up & Inspection
20-Point Inspection, Performance Test, & Safety Check
We’ll inspect the entire air conditioning system, including the condenser unit, evaporator coil, air filters, ductwork, and electrical components, to check for any visible signs of damage or wear. Fort Lauderdale heat can be brutal so we’ll make sure to keep your A/C as cool as possible with a Refrigerant Level Check. The refrigerant level is measured and adjusted if necessary. Proper refrigerant levels are crucial for efficient cooling performance.
We’ll run the system to check proper operation, including temperature output, airflow, cycling, and any unusual noises. Our skilled technicians will ensure that all safety features function, such as the disconnect switch and emergency shut-off, are functioning correctly. Electrical Component Inspection: The electrical connections, capacitors, and relays are inspected for any signs of damage or loose connections. This helps prevent electrical malfunctions and potential system failures. We end all A/C jobs with a System Performance Test. The system is run to check for proper operation, including temperature output, airflow, cycling, and any unusual smell or noises.
Air Conditioner / HVAC Maintenance Servicing
Air Filter Replacement: The air filter(s) are checked and replaced if necessary. Clogged or dirty filters can hinder airflow and reduce system efficiency. Lubrication: Moving parts such as motors, fans, and bearings may require lubrication to reduce friction and extend their lifespan.
Cleaning the Condenser and Evaporator Coils: The outdoor condenser coil and indoor evaporator coil can accumulate dirt, dust, and debris over time. Cleaning these coils enhances the system’s heat exchange process and improves overall efficiency. Condensate Drain Line Inspection: The condensate drain line, responsible for removing moisture from the system, is inspected for clogs or blockages. If needed, it is cleaned to prevent water damage or mold growth. Thermostat Calibration: The thermostat is checked and calibrated to ensure accurate temperature control and efficient operation.
Energy Efficiency Recommendations: The technician may provide recommendations on how to improve the system’s energy efficiency, such as upgrading to a programmable thermostat or sealing ductwork.
